As a dog behavior consultant, my approach centers on helping pet parents build deeper, more respectful connections with their dogs by learning to truly understand them - starting with canine body language and communication.
I believe in dog training rooted in kindness, compassion, and empathy, recognizing that dogs are complex individuals shaped by both internal and external influences.
My methodology goes beyond anecdotal advice, incorporating current research and science on how dogs and people learn, how behavior is shaped, and how our own actions and emotional states as guardians directly impact our dogs’ experiences.
By empowering you with knowledge and practical tools, I aim to create lasting positive, change for both ends of the leash. While my expertise lies in fear, anxiety and aggression also offer in-home private consultations and pet dog training services for behavior issues such as reactivity on leash, predation training, stranger danger, resource guarding, separation anxiety, and more.
My virtual training consultations are perfect for serious aggression cases or long-term separation anxiety training. I provide in-home private dog training and behavior consulting services to the San Gabriel Valley.

Lily has been a godsend for me and my rescue basset hound, Sebastian. We've done an in-person session and a virtual session. Lily has helped us so much. I have a much better UNDERSTANDING of our dogs and their behavior now. We're using positive methods to train them rather than corrections and our dogs are so much happier. One of our dogs who seemed scared and withdrawn during training when we started has changed so much. Lily taught us to read them better and now he is more engaged and affectionate. He's smiling, waggy and attention seeking. He's happy to train, no more running away and even comes in from the backyard when called!!
