Teaching Responsiveness on Leash
Responsiveness is the backbone of loose leash/companionable walking. Here I am teaching Max, at 12 weeks, how to be responsive to me when I ask for his attention by using the 'Touch' cue. I use the 'Touch' cue to move him around and I toss the treats away from me to teach him that coming back to me and engaging with me will be reinforcing and fun!
